The system unleashes lethal potential: Zed's exposed skin meets the vaporous rim of the vat or comes in contact with dry ice blocks, immediately stiffening into white plumes of frostbite. Black ice forms on the floor from spillage, creating hazardous footing. Both devices serve as instruments of corporal punishment and psychological coercion, leveraging sub-zero temperatures to enforce compliance through physical pain and environmental terror. Kracauer's command initiates their operation, while Kane's mercenaries utilize them as environmental hazard weapons and unspoken threats.
