Its surface is unadorned metal, its mechanism hidden beneath a smooth exterior. The device operates silently through an unseen mechanism, its purpose being to restrain the Doctor during forced extraction. During the procedure, Shockeye severed a coil of restraint wire to tighten it around the Doctor’s wrist, leaving faint crescent impressions on the Doctor's skin. This coil of wire is a damaged variant of the same restraint system.
