Concorde Engine Restart Air System Components

The Concorde’s repurposed air-restart system integrates both the original air-conditioning infrastructure components (piping and reducing valves) and the high-pressure compressed air supply mechanisms. Stapley strips these parts from their climatic regulation roles, rerouting them through hasty jury-rigs of Victor Foxtrot materials. Reducing valves precisely control airflow while the compressed air supply provides the high-pressure source. Condensation rings the salvaged fittings as Stapley wrenches them into place, metallic clangs echoing beneath the cargo hold’s emergency lights. Chromium-plated valve housings glint under harsh lighting as the components divert pressurized air into turbine chambers under emergency conditions.
