Tegan borrows the Time-Lost Sketchbook to render a crude but accurate depiction of the intruders’ spacecraft, pressing charcoal between pages to capture clothing details of a suited man and a woman in shift dress. The Doctor later reclaims it smudged with hasty sketches, its marbled covers now bearing evidence of Tegan’s defiant creativity.

Before: Leather-bound sketchbook in the Doctor’s possession, used previously for technical notes in the TARDIS Zero Room, scuffed but intact.
