They position themselves on the conning tower bridge alongside the Captain and Nazi Colonel Shliemann, observing the Bantu Wind freighter and its defiant pirate crew led by Katanga. Professional and obedient, they stand ready during tense deliberations over a potential torpedo strike, then follow the Captain down the hatch as the submarine submerges, embodying disciplined naval routine amid conflicting pressures from military honor and Nazi impatience.
