Three Elephants

The three elephants provide core transport for Indiana Jones' expedition to Pankot Palace. They carry Indiana Jones, Willie Scott, Short Round, and sometimes Sanju across desolate plains, hills, and lower jungle terrain. They open the journey marching solemnly across a blood-orange horizon, silhouetted against the dying sun, their deliberate pace contrasting Indy's urgency while silently witnessing the land's suffering from Thuggee desecration. They trudge steadily, drink at riverbanks where one sprays Willie, descend cliffs, pass under branches, and maintain calm amid threats, anchoring the group toward the Sankara Stones.
