Other Submarines (U-boat escort flotilla)

A group of U-boat escort submarines and their crews maintaining formation near the Bantu Wind during the tense standoff with the Wurrfler and the cargo ship. Positioned at a distance, these U-boats execute a coordinated, disciplined withdrawal when the Wurrfler submerges under its captain's command and refuses to fire torpedoes. Their maneuvering supports the flotilla's operational tempo and preserves subsurface readiness while enabling the lead sub's covert dive (a scene in which Indy clings to a periscope).
