Narrow ventilation duct opening in Hok's museum gallery provides Indy's intended escape route during the shootout. Hok bursts in and rakes it with gunfire, blocking Indy's retreat and pinning him down. Indy abandons the duct, grabs a massive ceremonial gong instead, and rolls it forward as bullet cover before leaping to a skylight.
