Refugee Pigs

A cluster of pigs transported aboard with arriving refugees during a chaotic evacuation, their high-pitched squealing and presence intensifying disorder on the Enterprise bridge. As nonverbal animals reacting to stress, they complicate crowd control and transporter operations, heighten sensory overload for the crew, and act as documentary markers of the refugees' living conditions and cultural baggage. Their role is environmental and catalytic rather than intentional or dialogic.
