Main Bridge Security Containment Field
A bridge-mounted lattice containment field used to seal corridors and turbolifts between doorway and bulkhead. When active the field forms a visible blue-to-blue-green lattice or membrane produced by low-profile emitter arrays in doorframes and overhead housings; it hums faintly, ripples under impact, distorts light at its edges, and registers on tactical displays. Officers (notably Data and bridge security personnel) operate the field from tactical consoles to physically bar movement, isolate targets, or convert corridors and turbolifts into controlled channels.

Containment barrier and defensive infrastructure used to seal decks, block physical movement and hostile actions, and control access during shipboard lockdowns.
Significance
Serves as the tactical fulcrum that converts a passive lockdown into an active hunt: it enables the bridge crew to funnel movement, set the turbolifts as bait, and escalate moral and tactical stakes when Roga Danar tests the system by entering an operating turbolift.
