Object
Pakled (Mondor) Bridge Analog Communications Console
A squat, jury-rigged communications console on the Pakled ship Mondor, fashioned from mismatched plating and exposed wiring and dominated by a single large analog dial with an integrated toggle switch recessed into the face. Metal casing shows chipped paint and worn bezels ringed by stamped markings; a ridged black plastic knob (about an inch across) and a clunky toggle switch produce irregular clicks and a low electrical buzz when operated. Grebnedlog manipulates the dial/switch—yanking, twisting, and slamming it—to enable and sever external links and the viewscreen feed during the scene.

Purpose
To open, regulate, and sever external communications links — operate the viewscreen/hailing frequency and route incoming or outgoing transmissions via a manual analog interface.
Significance
Functions as the Pakleds' literal control over contact with the Enterprise; manipulation of its dial and switch escalates and resolves tension, enabling sudden isolation or display. Its crude, tactile operation turns communication into a dramatic bargaining chip and a tool for deception, directly shaping the abduction's tempo and the rescue window.
