A cluster of crudely replicated, palm‑sized handheld phasers improvised by the Pakleds and wielded by Grebnedlog and his crew on the bridge/viewscreen: mismatched, dented casings with visible seams and exposed wiring, occasional sparking and bulky emitters jury‑rigged from salvaged Starfleet parts. They emit short, unstable energy discharges — typically brief stun blasts or uneven blue discharges that can scar bulkheads and temporarily incapacitate or blind a victim. Functionally these are blunt, improvised intimidation and incapacitation tools rather than precision Starfleet weapons.
