Maharajah (ruler of Pankot Palace)

The Maharajah, often referred to in sources as the 'new Maharajah', is the ruling authority of Pankot Palace who restored the palace's power after a period of decline. The Mayapore shaman blames his regime for the theft of the sacred Sankara Stone sivalinga, an act linked to the villagers' curse of drought, crop failure, and child loss. Although largely an offscreen antagonist, his oppressive revival of palace dominance motivates Indiana Jones' mission to recover the sacred artifact and confront the palace's abuses.
