Paradise

Located within the Black Wall’s oppressive boundaries, Paradise exists as a fragile sanctuary where the tribe’s reverence for Xoanon clashes with emerging doubts. The air here carries the scent of damp earth and the faint metallic tang of the sonic disrupter, a hidden rote of defiance buried beneath the undergrowth. Towering trees loom like silent sentinels, their leaves trembling with the weight of unseen phantoms and the tribe’s unspoken fears. The ground slopes unevenly, punctuated by crudely placed stones that may once have marked graves or borders, now repurposed as anchors for primitive defenses. The surviving light filters through a canopy thick with vines, casting shifting patterns that mimic the distortions of Xoanon’s illusions. Here, between the weight of tradition and the pull of reason, the first cracks in faith take root.
