Buddleia Cliff Face

A narrow cliff face overgrown with buddleia shrubs, their purple blooms creating patches of concealment among the vertical rock. The terrain slopes at a steep angle, forcing the Doctor to brace against the stone with one hand while his other sets a wire-triggered grenade trap in the undergrowth. The shrubs provide inconsistent cover—some fat buds brushing his skin, others revealing gaps where thin slivers of the simulation’s artificial sky peer through. Below, the cliff drops sharply, its ledges catching fallen branches that scrape against the rock in the occasional gust of wind. Above, the angle eases slightly, giving just enough purchase to wedge a boot or grip a root without triggering a slide. The air smells of crushed vegetation and damp mineral, the metallic tang of the planet’s poisoned surface lingering in the leaves.
