Lamias Laboratory

A cavernous chamber of clashing eras where brass-bound alembics bubble beside floating holographic schematics, their flickering blue light carving sharp silhouettes from the heavy oak beams overhead. Obsolete apothecary cabinets line one wall while the opposite bristles with surgical robots whose polished arms twitch in anticipation. A central dais, streaked with dried fluids of many colors, anchors the space, and a single overhead arc lamp splashes everything in cold white. The air smells of ozone and decayed lilies, the scent clinging to the whirring machines that ignore it completely.
