Prisoner Escape Zone

The barren dunes stretch in every direction, the only illumination coming from the flickering glow of weapons fire and the distant emergency lights of the spacecraft. Dust kicks up in frantic plumes as prisoners sprint through the loose sand, their boots sinking with each stride while Dallac arms still spark in her grasp. The thin atmosphere carried the sharp tang of ozone and the metallic sweat of recent violence, thickened by the stench of burning insulation from ruptured systems on the ship’s hull. Behind them, the Daleks take pursuit with mechanical precision, their harsh voices crackling over static-filled communicators cutting through the night. Shadows stretch long and jagged across the uneven ground as the prisoners weave between jagged rocks and scorch marks left by fallen allies, each step a gamble between escape and extermination.
