Full Ore Hopper

A confined metal cylinder with sloped sides, bathed in the dim red glow of emergency lighting from the storage locker it occupies. The hopper's interior is packed with rough chunks of dark ore, the air thick with metallic dust and the acrid tang of spent lubricants. The Doctor presses himself against the angled wall, his breath hitching in his throat as the crane arms of robots V9 and D64 clank past. A narrow makeshift tube, wedged through a seam in the hopper's hatch, provides the only connection to the locker's stale atmosphere, its rubbery taste mingling with the Doctor's growing panic as the robots' metallic footsteps syncopate their deadly rhythm.
