The Hyperion Fuel Chamber erupts into a blinding inferno as the Hyperion shuttle's reactor ignites, filling the cylindrical containment space with searing heat and blinding light. Metal walls lined with gridded catwalks and rickety staircases reflect the hellish glow while condensation sizzles into steam against the heated surfaces. The confined space forces Jo, Ky, and Cotton into desperate flight, their only escape a precarious metal staircase climbing toward a distant exit. Emergency lights strobe erratically against the growing conflagration, their sickly glow competing with the reactor's fury. The air thickens with superheated metal and acrid smoke, each breath burning their throats as the chamber's structural integrity groans under thermal stress. Above them, the chamber's ceiling bulges ominously, threatened by the expanding plasma field. This pressure cooker of raw energy becomes both prison and proving ground, the Marshal's brittle authority beginning to fracture under the heat of open resistance.
