Fluorescent strips flicker overhead, casting jagged pools of green-tinged light through mist that curls from unseen ventilation grates. Chain-link railings sag in places, their wires sharp enough to catch clothing. The narrow platform tilts sharply where the refridgeration conduits intersect the main cargo route, forcing cautious movement between fluctuating pressure zones. Above, exposed ductwork clatters with escaping cold, while below, the cavernous docking bay waits with its vaulted shadows and parked freighters. Emergency locks and blast doors punctuate the walls at irregular intervals, their warnings faint under the oppressive hum of environmental systems straining against entropy.
