Valeyard Consent Holding Room

A narrow, windowless chamber within the Valeyard's lair, designed to isolate and contain beings during bureaucratic processing. The walls are painted institutional green, the color muted under flickering fluorescent strips that cast uneven shadows across a single bolted metal chair and a small fold-out table where the consent form lies. A recessed metal waste bin overflows with crumpled procedural sheets, and the air carries the stale scent of spent toner and the faint metallic tang of the lair’s corridors. The door locks with a distinct, final-sounding thunk, and the only sound is the low hum of the Matrix’s interface bleeding through from the outer offices. The space feels temporary, like a detention cell repurposed for red tape: just enough room for two men to stand, just enough light to read a forgery.
