Warehouse Roof Catwalk

A narrow metal grate catwalk runs along the top edge of the cavernous warehouse interior, suspended twenty feet above the concrete floor. The corrugated roof above offers only slatted ventilation, casting thin shafts of moonlight across the open railing. Industrial beams and rusted supports form a skeletal frame, amplifying the echo of shouting voices and the rhythmic hum of the Nemesis rocket sled’s engines. The air smells of oil and ozone, thickened by the acrid tang of incinerated circuitry where the Doctor’s rocket sled has already struck. The restricted space forces close-quarters combat, making mobility and momentum decisive factors in the final confrontation. Cold industrial lighting from bare bulbs casts long shadows across rusted beams and flickering fluorescents, illuminating exposed pipes and dangling chains. Gaps in the railing offer views down to the Nemesis statue’s launch platform, where Ace’s desperate maneuvers draw gunfire and explosions echo upward. The Doctor and Cyberleader stand framed between sparkling energy discharges.
