The Moor

The moor stretches beyond the stone circle as a wide, uneven expanse of dark heather and sodden earth, the ground shifting underfoot with unseen dips and bogs that swallow sound and movement. Night deepens its threat: wind carries the scent of wet grass and something older, the air thick with the silence of hidden dangers.
