Unidentified Urban Building

A generic urban building glimpsed from above, its flat rooftop marked by two dark shapes parked amid a grid of exhaust vents and service hatches. The structure’s exterior suggests mid-20th century architecture: rectangular concrete facade with narrow strip windows that reflect the sky in washed-out bands. From this height, the building appears mostly dormant—no visible movement in the windows, no chatter of pedestrians near its entrance. The rooftop’s rough asphalt holds scattered litter: yellowed newspapers, a crumpled soft drink can, the skeletal remains of a bird caught in a gust.
