A steep-sided valley where tangled bracken and dense undergrowth swallow the daylight into muted green shadows. A childhood haunt of Ray’s, the dell now sits abandoned and overgrown, its trees leaning inward to form a natural chute that once shielded secret rambles. Ray’s boots trample brittle fronds and snapped twigs, their brittle cracks echoing in the quiet, while the Doctor’s eyes flick between the forest floor and the denser thickets where something like a stolen motorcycle might hide—if it could hide at all. The valley’s steep walls cut off the wind, letting only a breath of stale air trickle through, as if the place itself is holding its tongue.
