Morlox Confinement Cavern

A cramped adjoining cavern presses in with damp, jagged walls slick with condensation that glistens under the dim light filtering from Borad’s vault. The air carries the sharp mineral tang of worked stone and the acrid scent of Mustakozene Eighty, its chemical bite lingering in every breath. The uneven floor slopes treacherously, its surface littered with the viscous residue of the Morlox’s corrosive presence, forcing cautious steps through ankle-deep sticky deposits. Along one wall, rusted iron grilles embedded in the rock reveal the muffled sounds of the creature’s restless movements—a low, guttural chuffing punctuated by the occasional skitter of chitin on stone. In the cavern’s farthest recess, Peri Brown is bound to a corroded metal post, her silhouette just visible in the gloom, the Morlox’s glowing eyes fixed hungrily on its captive. The space offers no shelter, its oppression complete as the cavern’s narrow mouth isolates its prisoner from escape.
