Hidden Escape Tunnel

A cramped crawlspace chiseled through damp metal walls aboard the Shadow’s base, barely wide enough for one body to squeeze upward. The air reeks of ozone and rust, thick with the hum of failing machinery. Rough-hewn surfaces glint under the flicker of emergency lights, their edges still trembling from recent excavation. The tunnel angles steeply toward unknown territory, its endpoint somewhere above—where mutes patrol or the temporal distortions worsen.
