Narrow Cavern

The cavern compresses into a tight chamber where raw Spectrox thickens the air with its corrosive mineral tang. The walls press close, rough-hewn and damp, their uneven surfaces slick with condensation that glistens in the filtered light. The floor slopes subtly downward, its surface uneven and crusted with the sticky residue of the toxic mineral that blankets the cavern floor ankle-deep in places. The space offers no respite from the planet’s hostility—every breath carries the sharp, biting scent of the gas and the mineral’s ever-present acrid undertone. The cavern’s constriction forces the Doctor and Peri into close quarters, their shoulders almost brushing the cavern’s damp walls as they navigate the cramped passage. The dim light creates deep shadows along the edges, where the darkness feels heavier and more oppressive than the already suffocating atmosphere. Here, in this confined space, their precarious survival hinges not just on finding an exit but on enduring the cavern’s own unseen dangers.
