The air carries the sharp tang of ozone and the metallic scent of aged machinery left to corrode in the open, while patches of hardy lichen cling stubbornly to fractured rock surfaces. Distant shadows blur into featureless horizons, offering no clear paths but promising sanctuary from the oppressive oversight of Marb Station. The weight of controlled darkness lifts here, replaced by an unsteady sense of liberty and the creeping uncertainty of the unknown.
