The air hums with the drone of ventilation systems struggling to maintain breathable purity, while the distant glow of industrial smokestacks punctuates the horizon like dying stars. Ky’s fire in the mine becomes a metaphor for the resistance flickering against this engineered sterility—a rebellion against the illusion of safety sold to outsiders like Jo, who once walked London’s familiar streets above the Earth.
