Centre of Leisure: Performance Balcony

A narrow stone balcony accessible from the second floor of the Centre of Leisure facility in Seville Plaza. Its wrought-iron railing shows decades of wear from both casual misadventure and purposeful escapes. The air carries the scent of synthetic champagne and static electricity from malfunctioning disco apparatus. Below, the main floor's glittering chaos underscores the balcony's exposed position—revellers dance beneath this potential escape route, their movements catching the disco orb's strobing light. The 2-meter drop to the marble floor is shallow enough to hinder pursuit but sufficient to fracture bones. The railing's iron remains cold to the touch, both physically and metaphorically. This space becomes a critical pressure valve during 'Time and the Rani Part 3', hosting key confrontations between escapees and surveillance systems. Historically, it serves both recreational and illicit purposes—skipped stones land here, secret meetings occur here, and at least one major getaway originated here. The disco orb, originally decorative, becomes temporarily lethal when manipulated by the Rani.
