Billy's Chalet

A cramped wooden chalet with thin walls and a single flickering bulb, its peeling paint and drafty gaps doing little to hold back the night’s chill. The air smells of damp wood and lingering woodsmoke from the camp’s generator, the rhythmic thrum of its engine a constant presence through the thin partition walls. Billy stands in the center of the single main room, the Chimeron-augmented spacesuit bulking his frame as his body begins the irreversible cycle of transformation. Shadows stretch long across the warped floorboards from the weak porch lantern outside, its yellow light barely piercing the gloom but enough to catch the gleam of the Doctor’s unblinking eyes as he delivers his reluctant consent.
