Circus Corridor

The corridor behind the main big top stage is a tunnel of flickering gaslights and tarnished brass fixtures, their once-gleaming surfaces now streaked with soot and sweat. The air thickens with the odor of popcorn, cotton candy grease, and ozone from the alien distortions creeping along the velvet-draped walls. Distorted reflections in cracked mirrors show glimpses of the chaos spreading through the main tent—the Doctor's allies scattering, clowns brandishing jagged instruments, and shadows taking on unnatural geometries. The corridor's purpose as a backstage artery has warped into a gauntlet; its former safety now a lie as the circus itself becomes a weapon. Distant screams and circus music clash in dissonant counterpoint through the thin walls, while the floorboards groan underfoot as reality frays at the edges.
