Docked steamer vessel in Venice canals whose churning propellers at the stern become a deadly hazard during Indy and Kazim’s hand-to-hand fight. The vessel’s propellers create a whirlpool of foam and spray, sucking their drifting boat into a near-death trap. The stern area later becomes the site of their tense alliance formation amid chase debris and engine thunder.
