The Rope Bridge (and Bottomless Gorge)

A precarious rope bridge spanning a bottomless chasm filled with crocodile-infested rapids. The bridge sways violently over the abyss, its rotting planks splintering underfoot as Indy races across it. Thuggee guards swarm from both ends while Mola Ram chants dark rites amid a hail of Thuggee arrows. Indy severs the frayed ropes, causing the bridge to drop vertically into a flaming tangle. Willie and Short Round cling desperately as flames spread and the abyss beckons. The chasm itself is a sheer drop into shadowed depths, its narrow river teeming with hungry crocodiles that snap at falling bodies. Jagged walls amplify screams, and flaming arrows ignite the air above this pit of primal dread and gruesome death, where Thuggee guards and Mola Ram meet their end after the Sankara Stones scorch his flesh.
