Pankot Palace Tunnel System

A subterranean network beneath Pankot Palace, including: 1) The initial tunnel entrance (triggered by Willie Scott's scream), where Indiana Jones and Short Round fall into claustrophobic darkness filled with writhing insects and arachnids. The narrowing walls force them to crawl on hands and knees, with Indy's match briefly illuminating the horror. 2) The sealed chamber at the tunnel's end, where a massive door crashes shut behind them, trapping them in pitch-black isolation. The space is stale with decay and engineered terror, testing their bond as Short Round freezes in panic while Indy gropes the walls. This system serves as a Thuggee cult trap, designed to induce visceral dread and separate victims from the palace above.
