Well of Souls

A vast, snake-infested chamber beneath Tanis, serving as the primary setting for the Ark's retrieval and the climactic confrontation between Indy, the Nazis, and the supernatural. Distinct from the altar platform it contains, as it encompasses the entire environment, including crumbling pillars, a massive stone door, and the space where Marion is shoved into the abyss.
