Key events include Indy battling German mechanics near the plane's propellers, Marion climbing the wing to knock out the pilot, and a subsequent explosion involving a fuel truck that traps Marion in the cockpit. The airstrip is characterized by militarized tension, with trucks rumbling, bulldozers gouging trenches, and soldiers patrolling under floodlights.
