Thuggee Mines Abyss

A vast, dark pit yawns beneath the chamber behind Kali's altar, pierced by a cylindrical shaft of rising light that exposes enslaved Mayapore children toiling in the Thuggee mines far below. Indy crosses a narrow stone bridge to its edge, where clinking picks on rock and faint cries echo upward through suffocating darkness. The glow illuminates his shocked face, transforming a treasure hunt into a confrontation with cult depravity.
