A treacherous mountain road featuring razor-sharp hairpin turns perched on sheer cliffs, where a flimsy guard rail strains against high-speed impacts. This road serves as the site of a frantic Nazi convoy chase, where Indy exploits the terrain to sideswipe foes into oblivion and ram the staff car off the path. The lead staff car bends the guard rail first, screeching past, while the pursuing truck obliterates it entirely, hurling the rear staff car into the abyss—Gobler and Belzig perish in the plunge amid twisted wreckage, roaring engines, and swirling dust. The road also includes a dark tunnel where Indy grinds Nazi trucks against walls, flinging cars over edges.
