Ky's Solonian Ancient Tablets in Stone Egg
A small, smooth oblong egg-like container carved from polished Solonian stone, housing brittle clay tablets covered in the lost language of the Old Ones. Etched with identical patterns to those found on cavern walls across Solos and shimmering faintly under torchlight, the egg emits a faint bioluminescent glow matching Solos' cavern glowstones. The tablets contain angular glyphs arranged in irregular rows interspersed with rudimentary line drawings of ancient landscapes and mutated forms. The artifacts were presented by the Doctor to Ky after rescuing him from mutant attackers, with Ky recognizing the script from rock carvings but admitting no living Solonian could interpret the markings. Surfaces bear the patina of centuries and centuries of exposure to mine humidity, with deliberate erosion by the Overlords. When opened, it releases a musty, metallic scent. Serves as both a preservation effort for encoded ancestral wisdom and a potential key to lost knowledge the Overlords sought to bury. Split between Ky's possession and the Doctor's grip during critical negotiation scenes. Contents include sedimentary rock fragments with weathered indentations of interlocking Solonian symbols.

Significance
The egg represents the last surviving remnant of Solonian culture systematically erased by the Overlords. Its contents could rewrite history by revealing the true nature of Solos' toxic transformation and the Marshal's genocidal policies. When Ky initially rejects it as meaningless, the Doctor's insistence that the language must have meaning becomes a catalyst for their alliance despite Varan's departure. Its symbolic weight outweighs any practical function—it is pure knowledge waiting to be rediscovered.
