The micrographed cassette is the only physical leverage Vorg has left; he pulls it from concealment and thrusts it toward the officials mid-rejection, gambling its microscopic authority will override bureaucratic hostility and reverse their fate.

Vorg presents the micrographed document cassette as a desperate final attempt to secure the visa, claiming it bears the signature of the Great Zarb. Pletrac immediately takes possession and exits with it, removing any opportunity for its contents to be verified or used as leverage. The cassette becomes a symbol of false hope, risk, and the couple’s last gambit for survival.

Pletrac brandishes the brittle Tellurian display cassette—the supposed immigration document that Vorg had proffered—revealing it as a forged micrographic forgery.
