Morok Museum Main Entrance Doors

The primary exterior doors of the Morok Museum on Xeros, characterized by their heavy, imposing alien construction with no windows. These doors create an eerie, almost palpable silence that unsettles the Doctor and his companions (Barbara, Ian, Vicki, and later Dako). The doors serve as a controlled access point to the museum's interior, opening to release figures in white (Men in White guards) and later revealing the aftermath of a rebel ambush with the lifeless bodies of Sita and Dako sprawled at the threshold. A narrow crack in one panel is exploited by Barbara and Dako during an escape attempt, while a guard peers through the crack with a drawn weapon. The doors are also described as 'hanging ajar' after the ambush, suggesting their state can change between fully closed and partially open.
