Forensic Reconstruction Panels

Three large, hinged panels mounted along the east wall of the Panopticon, their matte black surfaces etched with chalk trajectory lines from the fatal shot. The panels bear numbered markers where Spandrell and the Doctor pinpointed the critical angles of the assassination, exposing Goth's account as physically impossible. Faint smudges of graphite overlap the marked trajectories, evidence of the Doctor's frantic attempts to reconstruct the impossible kill shot before the court reconvened.

Purpose

Forensic reconstruction of ballistic trajectories to validate or refute the account of a fatal shooting. Serve as physical evidence boards for marking witness testimonies and demonstrating spatial inconsistencies in the prosecution’s narrative.

Significance

The linchpin of the Doctor’s final gambit to dismantle the prosecution’s case and save himself from execution. Their markings directly contradict Goth’s testimony, forcing Spandrell and Hildred to confront the conspiracy’s fragility—or the presence of a hidden assassin manipulating events from the gallery. Without these panels, the truth of the assassination remains buried.
