The unnatural blinding light from the cave is the central obstacle in this event, expanding uncontrollably across the mountainside. Initially mistaken by Travers as a guiding beacon, it quickly reveals itself as a spreading threat, blinding the characters and cutting off their route to the pyramid. The light’s expansion forces a grim realization: the Intelligence’s influence is growing beyond their control, and the monastery is now in direct peril. Its blinding effect symbolizes the Intelligence’s ability to disorient and overwhelm its enemies, leaving Travers and Ralpachan trapped between it and the advancing Yeti.

Before: Emanating from the cave, beginning to spread across the mountainside. It is the first sign of the Intelligence’s escalating power and the primary obstacle to Travers and Ralpachan’s mission.
After: Fully expanded across the mountainside, blinding the characters and blocking their path to the pyramid. It now threatens to engulf the monastery, signaling the Intelligence’s dominance and the characters’ helplessness.
