The helmet's clear visor exposes the wearer's face while a heavy frame presses against the head, secured with tight straps. Electrical charges arc between the helmet and console as the Doctor's mind interfaces with the computer core during synchronization sequences. The device is alternatively referred to as a 'Conversion Helmet' in some contexts, but serves the same neural integration purpose. Blood from Mscox's wounds streaks its surface during operation.
