The protein reacts visibly to the body’s central nervous system, distorting perceptions and triggering episodes of violent disorientation that threaten both patient and caregiver. Its foreign composition resists immediate stabilization, leaving the Doctor to improvise treatment while containing the spread of its psychotropic effects.
