Terrace Parapet

The low, stone parapet stretches along the terrace’s edge, barely waist-high to the Doctor and Grendel as they confront each other. Rough-hewn granite blocks, weathered by years of wind and rain, form its crumbling barrier between safety and the thirty-foot drop into the moat. Grendel climbs onto it as his last chance to escape Zadek’s men, a desperate gambit that turns his pride into flight. The Doctor’s boots thud against the stone as he steps close, urging surrender before the villain leaps into the dark water below.
