When the Doctor flicks it upward, the harsh fluorescent tubes flicker to life, revealing the true horror of the tanks: mummified bodies lining the walls like grotesque wallpaper, their desiccated limbs stretched in silent protest. The sudden illumination exposes the dark liquid swirling through the pipes below as blood, dispelling the illusion of industrial storage.
