Morgus murders President in lift shaft

The President’s floater is offered as a decoy transport to the side entrance, but is revealed as a misdirection when the lift’s shaft is emptied during the murder. It never moves; instead, it becomes the instrument of the President’s death.

Before: A functional lift platform situated within the private lift alcove, the floater is armored and retractable, its safety rails in place and the shaft closed off.

After: The floater remains sealed and inactive; the shaft now bears the President’s blood and the trauma of his fall

Morgus consolidates power through murder and deception

The President’s sleek shooting brake rises four meters then suddenly drops as Morgus unlocks hidden mechanisms, sending the platform and its occupant plunging down the shaft to a fatal fall. Its polished surfaces soon reflect only the harsh office lighting.

Before: Intact and functional, positioned adjacent to Morgus’s office lift door for dignified exit.

After: Severely damaged at the shaft’s bottom with scattered debris; a murder weapon disguised as ceremonial transport.
